Not only are they completely drool-worthy, our Lamb Straws are perfect for boosting your pupper’s dental health. Gently air-dried, they can be placed in the freezer to provide a longer and more enriching treat or be served partially defrosted or straight from the pouch. If your dog is a serious chewer rather than a delicate licker, we recommend allowing the Lamb Straws to defrost thoroughly to avoid any risk of fractured teeth from solidly frozen foods.

Banana Berry Smoothie
For a delicious summertime treat, blend or mix a handful of strawberries, dog-safe yoghurt, a handful of blueberries and a mashed banana until you get a thick, smooth mixture.
Fill the Lamb Straws with the blended mixture.
Place the mixture-filled straws in the freezer for a few hours or until the mixture becomes solid.
Chow time!
Why are these ingredients great for your pupper?
Blueberries are a superfood packed with antioxidants, whilst bananas are high in Vitamin B6, which is helps boost your pup’s immunity, red blood cell count and nervous system function.
Pumpkin Pie
For another delicious filling, cut the skin off the ¼ of a pumpkin and remove the seeds.
Chop and place the de-skinned and de-seeded pumpkin in a steamer or steamer basket on top of boiling water.
Once softened, combine the pumpkin with our Turkey Bowl.
Mix well and use the filling to stuff inside the Lamb Straws.
Why are these ingredients great for your pupper?
Pumpkins are high in soluble fibre, which can be particularly beneficial when needing a remedy for diarrhoea and constipation. Lyka’s Turkey Bowl is also an excellent choice for dogs with sensitive tummies and allergies.
Peanut Butter & Banana
One of the most popular treats for puppers is peanut butter – free of xylitol of course! Combining this crowd favourite with frozen banana is a fun snack that is sure to get tails wagging.
Blend a frozen banana with a spoonful of peanut butter. Ensure the peanut butter is free from added salt, sugar, oil and artificial sweeteners, and most importantly xylitol, which is a common artificial sweetener and toxic to dogs.
Add a splash of water to loosen the mixture.
Add a few strawberry chunks to the mixture for added taste and texture, then fill your Lamb Straws and freeze until solid.
Why are these ingredients great for your pupper?
As a treat, peanut butter is great for your pupper as it contains protein, vitamins B and E, as well as niacin. Just make sure not to add too much though, as it is high in fat – moderation is key!
