Our meat and vegetables are sourced locally from Australian farmers and our dry ingredients such as seeds and superfoods are also sourced locally where possible.

All of our meat is human-grade and sourced as ethically and sustainably as possible. Put simply, we care where our meat comes from and the way in which it is procured for your dog’s bowl.
Our beef and lamb are grass-fed, our chicken is free-range, our turkey is barn-raised and our kangaroo is wild-caught using the national code of practice for ethical harvesting. Our fish and fish oil are also obtained through wild-caught, sustainable fishing practices. Not only does this ensure that the animals are treated ethically, but these meats also provide superior nutrition for your pupper.

At Lyka, we’re all about that fresh food difference. Puppers that have made the switch to Lyka report on a lot of positive changes. Increased enthusiasm during meal times translates to increased energy throughout the day. Other noticeable changes include shinier and healthier coats, improved dental health, improved digestion and less stinky poos.
You may also notice that your pupper has smaller poos. This is perfectly natural since Lyka doesn’t contain fillers. Your pupper is merely digesting and using a larger portion of the food than before.

We prepare our food in a human-grade kitchen in Sydney. Our production safety matches the high standards of human food production. Unlike typical pet food companies that outsource their manufacturing, Lyka is produced in-house, which means we control every part of our production process.
There’s no need for puppers to act their age when they dine on Lyka wholefoods! For a senior citizen, it’s essential to maintain your pupper’s body weight to help prevent diseases such as arthritis. We customise serving sizes to to ensure they continue maintaining their ideal weight.

Our Lyka bowls keep up with the perkiest of pups through carefully designed servings of the optimal nutrients for a developing dog. As puppies are continually growing, they require changing serving sizes to ensure the healthy development of their muscles, bones and organs. We update your plan through a combination of our predictive growth algorithm and your updates on their changing size and weight.

Our treats are available exclusively to Lyka subscribers. If you wish to join the Lyka pack, you can build your first box here. Once a member, you will have access to a curated selection of vet-approved treats, as well as complete and balanced meals for your pup. You can read more about our philosophy and our food here.
Absolutely! Provided you are a Lyka subscriber, you can order treats as a one-off, or have them recurring in every box. You also have the option to switch up your treats preferences any time via your customer account - just make sure to update this before our Midnight cut-off the week that your box is due for delivery.
Our treats are available as single pouches or to make your life easier, our in-house Integrative Vet has curated packs of three, known as our Treats Trios. These packs offer targeted health benefits and give your pup the chance to sample a variety of our range, and even better – they come with a 15% discount.

We take sustainability and freshness very seriously here at Lyka HQ, so we’re very proud to say that our treats pouches are 100% biodegradable. Throw them in your regular bin and they’ll break down in 30 weeks from the time they were produced – much faster than the 2 years it takes a banana peel!
For now, we are only offering it exclusively to our meal subscribing customers. For new customers, you can build a box then add “Supplements” on your customer account. For existing customers, you will need to login to your customer account and find more information within the ‘Supplements’ page.
For once-off purchases, a 28-pack of supplements will be $45.00. This is an 8 week supply for dogs 0kg-4kg, a 4 week supply for dogs 5kg - 20kg, and a 2 week supply for dogs 21kg+.

They can be served by themselves, or crumbled over your pup's meal as a healthy topper. As our supplements are safe for prolonged use, we recommend following the recommended daily dose for optimal results. If feeding multiple supplements, we recommend serving a different one each day (Pulse Feeding). In some instances, more than one supplement can be taken each day. Please contact customer care if you feel your dog might benefit from taking multiple supplements.
Lyka Supplements are intended for supplemental feeding in conjunction with a complete and balanced diet. We recommend reviewing the appropriateness of the supplements every 6-12 months and encourage discussion with your dog's veterinary team.

The Lyka supplements range is designed to provide conditionally essential nutrients that are suitable for dogs with specific health concerns, dogs who are at increased risk of them, or dogs with owners interested in supplements for prevention. For support with a specific disease or organ dysfunction, we recommend daily feeding of one specific supplement. For dogs with multiple health concerns or generally healthy dogs, our supplements include ingredients with multi-potency, allowing for many cross-over benefits when taking multiple supplements at once.

Lyka Supplements should be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This is to maintain their optimal taste and texture.

Pulse feeding is the use of multiple supplements at the same time on a rotational basis to allow more access to bioactive ingredients without compromising positive effects.
When used together, the different bioactive compounds in our supplements work synergistically and play cross-over roles within the body. For example, Curcumin is great for both stiff joints as well as digestive support, and Vitamin B12 supports both stress and digestion.

At Lyka, we believe that a fresh, real food diet is a lifestyle change, not a once-off. We want our Lyka puppers to experience the fresh food difference through a consistent and long-term improvement in their diet.
Yes, you can give Lyka the sniff test with our starter box! This is an excellent option if you’re still not sure, or just want to try Lyka out. At check-out, you can choose to either sign up for a continuous plan straight away or select the starter box, that will later convert to a plan. After you receive your starter box, you have the freedom to pause or cancel at any time.
Our veterinary-derived algorithm calculates how much your pupper should be eating based on your pupper’s profile. Factors like their current weight, age, activity level and body shape assist our algorithm to accurately calculate the daily calorie intake that your pupper needs to maintain their ideal weight.If your pupper’s profile changes or you simply feel that we haven’t landed on the correct serving size, please let us know and we’ll make sure to find the perfect fit.

You can access and change your pupper’s information by logging into your Lyka account on our website. Different lifestyle changes, such as changes in their exercise routine, can affect how much your pupper needs to eat. Even if your pupper hasn’t had any major changes but you think their serving size isn’t quite right, let us know! We will change their customised serving size on their next delivery.
Your first package will have step-by-step instructions on transitioning your pupper to Lyka. The process generally takes about one to two weeks and involves mixing your previous food with Lyka and gradually increasing the amount of Lyka. Your pupper’s tummy will be adjusted to Lyka in no time!

Since Lyka is developed alongside vets and an Australian veterinary nutritionist, and is complete and balanced, you do not need to consult your vet before transitioning to Lyka. However, if your pupper has had food allergies or dietary problems in the past, it’s always a good idea to talk to your vet before switching their diet.

We don’t add any preservatives to Lyka, which means that our food has a limited shelf-life. We vacuum seal your pupper’s pouches to prolong the freshness of their Lyka meals. Frozen, Lyka will keep for 4 months. In the fridge, Lyka will last for 7 days unopened or 2 days once opened. We recommend storing your pupper’s Lyka pouches in the freezer and moving them to the fridge a few days before opening.
Every 500 grams of Lyka is about the size of a standard ice cube tray. For example, if your pupper’s serving is 500g per day, and you’re receiving a 2-week delivery, you need space for about 14 ice cube trays.
Yes! We have designed our packaging with environmental sustainability in mind. Unlike other food delivery services that use Styrofoam boxes, which are extremely detrimental to the environment, our packaging is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. We’ll even provide you with recycling instructions at delivery.
In our experience, even the pickiest of eaters go crazy for Lyka. However, if you’re not sure or your pupper is an extremely fussy eater, we recommend giving our starter box a go

No trouble at all! When moving your pup over to our Lyka meals, we do recommend a gradual transition (where you mix your pupper’s current food with their Lyka meals!), so that your pup’s gut microbiome has time to adjust to the new and exciting ingredients.

Your delivery will arrive every few weeks, depending on your customised shipping scheduled. You’ll always be able to see your next scheduled delivery through your Lyka account. Once each box is shipped, you will receive a link to track your delivery.

Enjoy worry-free delivery with Lyka. Our deliveries come to you through our cold-courier service, and you’ll be provided with an ETA the evening before delivery. Our insulated box keeps your pupper’s meals at the right temperature until you get home. Just be sure to pop the pouches into the freezer once you arrive!

Your credit card is charged a few days before your box is prepared and delivered to you, with the exception of your first delivery, in which case you are charged at the time of purchase. You can find your exact delivery date when you log in to your Lyka account. We accept Visa, MasterCard and AMEX debit and credit cards.
Not at all. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time directly from your Lyka account. You can also switch between different plan options. We only ask that you make any changes before your next scheduled payment, so that your upcoming order is not processed.
