Homemade treats for dogs this summer

Summer is all about spending time outdoors under the sun. But as we are at the peak of summer, staying outdoors for too long or doing activities like hydrotherapy for pupper isn’t ideal, so you must be wondering what are some ways to keep pupper cool then? Well we’re here to help! We have come up with 3 homemade treats for dogs to not only keep them cool but to keep their tummys feeling good!

All it takes are these 3 easy steps:

1. Prepare the ingredients

  • An ice cube tray (any one will do!)

  • 1 x mashed banana

  • 1/4 x mashed pumpkin

  • 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth

2. Fill up the ice tray

In no particular order, you can start filling up 4 spots on the tray with chicken or beef broth – can’t say no to a little bit of protein!

Now fill 3 spots of the tray with banana – a hint of potassium and fiber for pupper? Don’t mind if they do!

Finally, fill up the last few spots of the tray with pumpkin – rich in vitamin A to keep pupper’s sights clear!

3. Place them into the freezer and remove when done

Depending on how strong your freezer is, we would suggest to leave them in for at least 1 hour!
