Accessing your Lyka discount
How do staff at my clinic access the ongoing 50% off discount?
Getting started is simple! Any team members in your clinic are eligible for:
- A 50% off ongoing Lyka discount
- Any staff who have an existing Lyka account can also access the 50% off ongoing discount. More information on this is available below.
To claim:
- Visit our sign-up page and complete the brief form. Don’t forget to list your clinic name.
- Build your dog’s order so we can tailor meals to their needs.
- Please select a payment method
- Orders will be delivered to the address you provided. If you’d like your order to be delivered to your clinic instead, please contact our Customer Care team at 1300 851 936 or email info@lyka.com.au after placing your first order.
Can staff who already have a Lyka account access the Lyka discount?
Absolutely! Any staff who have an existing Lyka account can also access the 50% off ongoing discount.
Contact your Parternships Manager via email or reach out to partners@lyka.com.au with their name and the email linked to their Lyka account and we’ll apply the 50% discount for them.
What if I'm unable to create a new account to access my staff discount?

Your client's exclusive Lyka offer
How do my clients order Lyka and receive their 50% off first box + 30% off second box discount?
Each clinic gets a unique referral link that unlocks 50% off a client’s first Lyka order. Your clients will also receive 30% off their second order. You’re able to share this offer with as many clients as you like.
You will also receive flyers to give to your clients. These contain your referral link in the form of a QR code. Your clients can simply scan the QR code to unlock their discount.
Here’s how it works:
- Share your flyers or referral link (via SMS or email) directly with clients. You can find this link in your inbox and on your clinic flyers.
- Clients click the link and build a customised plan for their dog.
- At checkout, the 50% off their first order and 30% off their second will be applied automatically.
How do referrals and commissions work?
For every client that signs up to try Lyka from your clinic’s recommendation (using your referral link or flyers with QR code), you will receive a commission payment. This includes $50 per referral and a 1% ongoing revenue as the customer continues with Lyka.
This is paid monthly into your nominated bank account.
Getting your clients started with Lyka
Can my clients order a Starter Box to try out Lyka to begin with?
Yes! Your clients can try Lyka for 1-2 weeks with a Starter Box. This is a great way for your clients to trial Lyka and get the lick of approval from their dog.
Can my clients feed Lyka alongside another food (half bowl option)?
Yes, they can. Lyka offers two plans that your clients can choose from:
- Full Bowl: Provides 100% of a dog's daily nutritional needs.
- Half Bowl: 50% of a dog's daily nutritional needs, supplemented by another food of choice. You can find more information about what we suggest your clients feed alongside their Half Bowl of Lyka here.
How much will Lyka cost for my clients?
The serving size of Lyka meals is customised according to a dog’s weight, age, breed and exercise level, providing them with enough calories per day, with allowance for some treats. This means that the cost of Lyka varies based on serving size and plan type (Full Bowl or Half Bowl).

The research and development behind Lyka meals
Do Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionists formulate Lyka?
Yes! Every meal is developed by Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionists alongside other veterinarians and animal nutritionists for optimal nutrition, digestibility and palatability.
Is Lyka complete and balanced for all life stages?
Yes! Lyka meals and treats provide a diverse range of macro and micronutrients. While each meal is complete and balanced for all life stages, some are better suited to specific clinical scenarios. More information on recommending Lyka for particular health conditions is available in your Lyka Veterinary Technical Information guide.
Lyka for puppies: Exposing puppies to a wide variety of foods supports microbiome development and helps prevent fixed food preferences. Lyka meals are ideal for this, as all formulations are suitable for puppies. While not essential, we encourage rotating between white and red meats to align with FEDIAF’s amino acid balance guidelines (e.g., lysine:arginine ratios).
Lyka for senior dogs: Most Lyka meals are suitable for senior patients. Any chronic health conditions should be taken into consideration when making recommendations. Varying macronutrient levels and caloric densities across Lyka meals allow for dietary adjustments, such as calorie restriction in overweight patients or senior dogs with varying digestive capacities for fat, fibre, and protein.

Lyka's Hypoallergenic Pro Goat Meal
What is Lyka’s Hypoallergenic Pro Goat Meal?
Developed with goat, a single, novel and sustainable protein, along with other carefully selected ingredients, Hypoallergenic Pro is formulated to support dogs with cutaneous and gastrointestinal sensitivities.
It is suitable for dogs requiring novel protein elimination re-challenge trials and/or a long-term novel diet.

When should I recommend using Hypoallergenic Pro?
Lyka’s Hypoallergenic Pro recipe is suitable for dogs requiring novel protein elimination re-challenge trials and/or a long-term novel diet, that may be experiencing:
- Non-seasonal pruritus and dermatoses such as:
- Cutaneous adverse food reactions
- Food-induced atopic dermatitis
- Chronic otitis externa
- Food-responsive gastrointestinal issues such as:
- Chronic enteropathy
- Inflammatory bowel disease

How do my clients order Hypoallergenic Pro?
Our Hypoallergenic Pro recipe can either be ordered in the same way as our classic meals (through your clinic’s referral link or flyers), or using your Hypoallergenic Pro specific flyers.
When your client uses our Hypoallergenic Pro flyer and scans the QR code, this will ensure that this recipe is added to the clients Lyka box automatically.
Your customers will still receive the 50% first box and 30% second box discount when ordering Hypoallergenic Pro.
If using your referral link or generic clinic flyers, your client will need to select Hypoallergenic Pro from our list of proteins when placing their first order.
What makes Hypoallergenic Pro different from a hydrolysed protein diet or another novel protein diet?
Lyka’s hypoallergenic diet is non-hydrolysed and made from minimally processed novel ingredients that reduce the chance of an allergic reaction. It features gently cooked goat, making it highly palatable and digestible.
How does Lyka’s Hypoallergenic Pro meal compare to hydrolysed diets? Hydrolysed diets and Lyka’s hypoallergenic meal both aim to reduce the immune response to dietary antigens. However, Lyka’s minimally processed goat meal also seeks to address the underlying cause, including dysbiosis and immune hypervigilance. It also supports systemic health through a high-protein, low-carb formulation.
How does Lyka’s Hypoallergenic Pro meal compare to other novel protein diets? Many other novel protein diets are very limited in their ingredients. In contrast, Lyka’s hypoallergenic protein has targeted ingredient inclusions to support a diverse microbiome, a low omega 6:3 ratio, and goat is a more sustainable and reliable supply chain of protein.
