Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the sweet potato into small cubes. Boil in a large pot of water for 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain and leave to rest for two minutes, then mash until smooth. Set aside to cool.

  2. Divide the mince into three equal portions. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat, and drizzle with a small amount of oil. Working one at a time, flatten each portion out onto the pan and cook each side until golden. Set aside and allow to cool.

  3. To assemble the cake layers, place one mince patty on a plate or serving board. Spread a generous amount of mashed sweet potato across this surface, repeating the process with the remaining patties and mash to build a three-layered dog cake.

  4. Spread Greek yoghurt across the top, for an extra probiotic boost to support digestive health! Decorate the cake with the fresh fruit and Lyka Supplements.

Store your dog’s cake in the fridge — it should be consumed within 2-3 days. If this means you need to throw your dog a birthday party to ensure all the cake gets eaten, even better!
