Refer a Friend Terms and Conditions
Definitions
Referee Credit: Discounts can only be used by new customers who have not previously had a Lyka Pet Food account or received a Lyka Pet Food delivery. Returning or existing customers are not eligible for this discount and cannot apply their own unique code on their account.
Referee Credit Redemption: A referred (friend or family member) can redeem their credit by clicking on a referral link to place an order on the Lyka Pet Food website or by using a referral code at checkout. Referral rewards are applied automatically and cannot be combined with other offers or used more than once per customer.
Referral Limit: A referrer can refer up to 5 friends and can receive up to 5 referral rewards to be applied to future boxes (where payment has not yet been processed). Lyka Pet Food reserves the right to adjust the number of referral rewards at any time.
Referrer Credit Redemption: Following a successful credit redemption by a referrer’s referee, a referrer will receive a discount that will be applied to the referrer’s next payment.
Cancellation: A customer who cancels their subscription or account with Lyka Pet Food will forfeit any remaining offers, credits or discounts on their account.
Successful referral: A referral is considered successful when the referee signs up for a Lyka Pet Food subscription using the referrer’s unique code or link and places their first order.
Give 50, get 50 Promotion
From 30 May 2024, existing Lyka Pet Food customers (‘Referrers’) can refer friends and family (‘Referrals’) to receive 50% off on their first Lyka order (excluding Treats and Supplements). In return, Referrers will receive 50% off their next payment (excluding Treats and Supplements) to be processed under their subscription.
The terms under the ‘Refer a Friend Scheme’ clause in these Terms will apply to this “Give 50, get 50” Promotion.
We may amend or withdraw this “Give 50, get 50” Promotion at any time.
From 20 May 2025, Referrals will also receive 30% off their second Lyka order.
Referral Perks terms and conditions
From 12:01am AEDT on 30 October 2025, for a limited time only, Lyka customers can earn exclusive merchandise for successful referrals, in addition to our ‘Give 50, get 50’ Promotion as set out above. Lyka may end the promotion at its discretion, and Perks are available while stocks last.
What you’ll get
Your rewards are based on your lifetime total referrals, not just referrals made during the campaign. Each customer can earn one 1st Referral Perk (either a Lyka tote bag or a Lyka x frank green poo bag holder) and one 2nd Referral Perk (a Lyka cap).
1st referral = Lyka x frank green poo bag holder (changed from a Lyka tote bag on Tuesday 3 March, 2026)
2nd (or more) referrals = Lyka cap
Example: If you already had 2 referrals before the campaign and refer one more friend, you’ll receive the cap only.
You’ll also receive our standard referral discounts. For details, refer to the Give 50, get 50’ Promotion above.
When it’s running
The campaign starts at 12:01am AEDT on 30 October 2025 and runs for a limited time only. Lyka may end the promotion at its discretion, and perks are available while stocks last.
Perk conditions
Each customer can earn a maximum of one 1st Referral Perk (either a Lyka Tote bag or Lyka x frank green poo bag holder) and one 2nd Referral Perk (a Lyka cap).
The 1st referral perk is determined by the time of the successful 1st referral. 1st referrals before Tuesday, March 3 will receive a Lyka tote bag, and 1st referrals from Tuesday, March 3 will receive a Lyka x frank green poo bag holder.
Rewards are subject to availability and may run out without notice
If you cancel your Lyka subscription, any unclaimed rewards will be forfeited
Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash
How rewards are delivered
Lyka perks will be automatically added to an upcoming Lyka delivery after your successful referral(s) are confirmed.
Disqualification
As set out in Lyka’s Privacy and Terms here, Lyka Pet Food reserves the right to put any user accounts on hold, prevent any outgoing deliveries, and remove/change unique customer codes or otherwise disqualify a customer from participating in any current or future promotions (at our sole discretion) where we detect ‘gaming’ or abuse of any of our promotions or offers or if we reasonably suspect that you take any of the following actions. Refer to “Account closure or disqualification for any promotions, competitions or offers” here.
Liability and Privacy
Lyka Pet Food is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage arising from the campaign or use of the prizes, except where required by law. Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with the Lyka Privacy Policy. No personal data will be shared with third parties without consent.
Changes to the Campaign
Lyka reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion or these terms at any time without notice.
Acceptance of Terms
By participating in this promotion, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge that Lyka’s decisions regarding all aspects of the campaign are final.
