The promoter of this competition is Lyka Pet Food, ABN 56 623 082 360, located at 290 Botany Road, Alexandria, NSW 2015. This competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older. Employees of Lyka Pet Food, their immediate family members, and anyone directly connected to the competition are not eligible to enter.

The prize is supplied exclusively by Bannisters Hotels. Bannisters Hotels are not responsible for the running of the competition, only for the provision of the prize.

Prize:

There will be one winner who will receive the prize, with a total recommended retail value of $1000. This includes:

• Two (2) nights’ mid-week accommodation at Bannisters Port Stephens or Bannisters Pavilion

• A la carte breakfast each morning

• $300 to spend on dining at any onsite restaurant at Bannisters

Prize Limitations:

• Prize is not valid for Friday or Saturday night stays

• Valid for 2 people and up to 2 dogs

• Travel costs are not included

• Subject to availability and must be used before the expiry date (31st of July 2026)

• Not valid during public holidays, school holidays, or peak periods as set out by the hotels. 

• Prize cannot be extended past the expiry date (31st of July 2026)

• Prize must be booked in accordance with Bannisters’ standard 7-day cancellation policy

How to Enter: 

To participate, entrants must comment on the competition post how they celebrate their dog's milestones, in 25 words or less. Separate posts in the group not on the competition post won’t be included.

Contest Period:The competition opens on Monday, 30th June 2025, at 11:00 am AEST, and ends Sunday, 6th July 2025, at 11:59 pm AEST. Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered.

Winner Selection and Notification:

• Winner will be selected and notified by Lyka Pet Food located at 290 Botany Road, Alexandria NSW 2015 on Tuesday 8th July 2025.

• Winner will be notified by Lyka Pet Food via Facebook or Instagram. 

• If a winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days of the first notification attempt, an alternate winner may be chosen.

Conditions of Prize:

• Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not exchangeable for cash

• Any attempt to resell or auction the prize will result in cancellation

• The prize cannot be exchanged for another prize

• Actual prize may differ from promotional images

• If the winner does not take an element of the prize during the specified period, that element will be forfeited, with no cash or alternative offered

• If any part of the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute it with an item of equal value, subject to regulatory guidance

• The prize cannot be gifted to another person if the winner is unable to travel

• If the winner cannot complete all components of the itinerary within the validity period, the remaining components will be forfeited

Booking Terms:

• The winner must comply with Bannisters’ booking terms and conditions or risk forfeiting the prize

• The prize winner may make one (1) date change, at least 30 days before the original booking, provided the new dates (of equal value) are available

• Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before arrival. If cancellation occurs within 48 hours, a medical certificate must be provided in the case of serious illness or injury, or the prize will be forfeited

Publicity: By entering this competition, participants agree that their name and image may be used by Lyka Pet Food and Bannisters Hotels for promotional purposes indefinitely, without additional compensation, if they are selected as the winner. This includes use on marketing channels, including social media.

Data Protection: Personal information provided during entry will be handled in accordance with the Lyka Pet Food Privacy Policy. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Liability

• Lyka Pet Food is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants in connection with this competition or their acceptance and use of the prize, except as required by law.

• Lyka Pet Food reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

• By entering this competition, entrants release and indemnify Lyka Pet Food and Bannisters (and their staff, officers, and agents) from any claim or liability resulting from participation in the competition, use of the prize, or failure to win, to the extent permitted by law.
